Coaching
You know you’re capable of more—but something’s getting in the way. Practical, focused support to help you break through what’s holding you back.
ARE YOU FEELING STUCK OR OFF TRACK?
You might have a sense that something needs to change — but you’re not quite sure how to move forward. You could be capable, driven, and doing “fine” on the outside, but underneath things feel unclear, frustrating, or stalled.
Perhaps you’re thinking a lot but acting less. Starting things but not following through. Busy, but not really progressing. Capable in many ways — but not moving forward in the ways that matter most.
If that sounds familiar, coaching can help you reset and move forward with clarity.
HOW COACHING CAN HELP
Coaching is about getting you from where you are now to where you want to be — moving forward clearly and consistently.
When we work together we’ll cut through the overthinking, get clear on what actually matters, and build practical strategies that create real momentum. It’s not just about setting goals — it’s about understanding what’s been getting in the way and doing something about it.
This isn’t just about talking—it’s about creating real movement in your life.
HOW I WORK
My coaching style is direct, supportive, and grounded in real-world application. I’ll work alongside you to set clear goals and direction, challenge unhelpful patterns or thinking, and focus on what actually moves things forward.
We’ll create practical strategies and build in accountability between sessions so the work continues beyond our conversations.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Coaching tends to work well if you feel stuck but know you’re capable of more, want clarity around your direction or next steps, are ready to take action rather than just think about it, and value practical strategies with real accountability.
Particularly valuable for professionals, leaders, and those carrying responsibility.

“Everything you need to know before getting started”
What’s the difference between coaching and counselling?
Counselling focuses more on understanding and working through challenges, while coaching is forward-focused—to set goals, overcome obstacles, and take action.
How is coaching different from mentoring?
Mentoring typically involves someone more experienced sharing their knowledge and guiding you based on their own journey. Coaching is different — it’s less about me giving you answers and more about helping you find your own clarity, direction, and capability. I’ll challenge your thinking, help you cut through what’s holding you back, and build practical strategies that work for your specific situation.
Can coaching help with personal as well as professional issues?
Yes. While coaching is often used in professional contexts, personal and professional life are deeply connected. Confidence, relationships, decision-making, and clarity affect everything. I work with the whole person, not just the role.
Is coaching right for me?
Coaching is ideal if you’re functioning day-to-day but feel stuck, want more clarity, or are looking to grow personally or professionally.
What kinds of issues do you work with?
I work with a range of coaching areas including lack of clarity or direction, feeling stuck or plateaued, self-doubt in professional roles, goal setting and follow through, decision making, accountability, resilience, boundary setting, performance improvement, and life or role transitions.
Do I need to have a specific goal to start coaching?
Not necessarily. Some people come with a clear goal; others come with a sense that something needs to change but aren’t sure what. Either is fine — part of the early work is getting clarity on what actually matters and where to focus. You don’t need to have it figured out before we start.
What happens in the first session?
The first session is relaxed and conversational. We’ll talk about what’s brought you in, what you’re hoping to get from our work together, and a bit about how I work. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with — we go at your pace. By the end we’ll have a clearer sense of where things are and whether working together feels like a good fit and in most cases progress towards your goals.
How long does it take to see results?
Most people notice movement fairly quickly — often within the first two or three sessions there’s greater clarity and a sense of direction. Coaching is action-oriented, so you’ll be applying things between sessions from early on. The pace depends on what you’re working toward, but you won’t be sitting in sessions indefinitely without progress.
How often should I have sessions?
Fortnightly is the most common rhythm for coaching — it gives enough time between sessions to act on what we’ve discussed and come back with real progress to build on. Weekly is also an option if you want more intensity and accountability at the start.
Have you worked with people in my situation before?
Most likely yes — I’ve worked with a wide range of people across many different situations. If you’re unsure whether your situation is something I can help with, the best thing to do is reach out for a brief conversation. I’ll be honest with you about whether I’m the right fit.
Will you give me advice or just listen?
Coaching is definitely not just listening. I’ll challenge your thinking, help you cut through what’s getting in the way, and work with you to build clear strategies. You’ll leave sessions with direction and practical next steps — not just a good conversation.
What does accountability look like between sessions?
We’ll agree on specific actions or focus areas at the end of each session. At the start of the next session we’ll check in on how that went — honestly and without judgment. Accountability isn’t about pressure; it’s about keeping the work moving forward between conversations.
Can I switch from in-person to online?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to mix in-person and online sessions depending on what works for you week to week. Just let me know before the session and we’ll make it work.
What if I need to p
What if I need to pause or stop sessions?
That’s completely okay. Life happens and circumstances change. Just give me as much notice as you can and we can either pause and pick up when you’re ready, or wrap up in a way that feels complete. There are no lock-in contracts.
Do you offer a free initial consultation?
I offer a brief phone call before booking so you can get a feel for whether this is the right fit — no commitment required. Use the Talk First button to get in touch and we’ll arrange a time.
Is everything confidential?
Yes, everything is held in confidence and any notes are stored in a secure system.
The only time confidence would be broken is in the event that harm could occur to you or others. This would be discussed with you first though.
How much does it cost?
You can find full details on pricing, funding options, and terms on our investment page:
